Sync is still on an older version.
OK 3.5.3 popped up and Sync 4 was upgrade to the xxxx "600". I have the full screen "switch", when I push I get the black 1/3 screen on the right with time, date and date. So it need 3.5.4 and/or coolwalk I guess.

When I first got the 3.5.3, I had a couple of strange things happen too in CarPlay. Initially it didn't even show as having full-screen added. It seemed like after a couple of key cycles, my issues went away. Not sure if an APIM reset might help of not if your issues continue. I didn't need one. Good Luck!

Well try to stay warm. I'm in N.TX and getting ice. It's a complete mess. Wrecks all over the area. School closed again tomorrow for my daughter.
Still awaiting 3.5.4 but the weather has our internet all jacked up so probably wouldn't be able to come through anyway if they do try to push it out to me.
I was getting some update love from Ford back in December and nothing since then and now feel like I'm suck on 3.5.2.

3.5.3 was sent to you on 1/27 and your truck is trying to download al the files it needs for the update.
Got an e-mail from Ford yesterday that said that 3.5.3.2 was downloaded. Checked today and it was!! Got the truck last July and was beginning to think the automatic update wasn't working. Only thing I noticed so far is the Apple Car Play can go to full screen. Woo hoo!!

3.5.3 was indeed sent to you on 1/23. It downloaded some of the files between the 23rd and the 24th, but since then, it is just sitting there and has not downloaded any more. I have no way of knowing if it will fail or not. This OTA trigger is made to last 336 hours which is 2 weeks. if it does not install by then, theoretically it will time out and then you have to wait for another turn. Other than ensuring you have a good cellular or wifi connection and a charged battery, there is nothing you can do to help the process.
Your truck is stuck on Sync version 20301 and you have not had an update sent to your truck in 22 months. Without dealer intervention, your truck will most likely never get an OTA sent to it again, as Ford has yet to come up with a fix for the botched update they were pushing out back then. Your dealer needs to diagnose your APIM and if they cannot repair it (which they most likely won't), they will have to order you another one and when it gets there, you will have to cross your fingers and hope they program it correctly.
Or, you can invest in a Mongoose tool and fix it yourself. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your truck is in OTA purgatory.

Your truck reported DTC's for battery voltage 1/23 -1/25. That could very well be why the update has been in limbo.
