Software Updates
My truck has tried installing 2.8.1 three times since yesterday. Is there anything I can try to do to help it along?
I have auto updates turned off, so I have manually accepted it three times. I've received four successful OTAs the last month or so. I'm very pleased with the recent progress. I have not run into a stuck OTA like this before.

Thank you! It said no update available. I sat there with the truck on for about 15 minutes playing with other settings and when I went back it finally said update now. After the update it said it was to fix the trailer brake recall issue. I still can not use the stickers for the pro trailer backup. According the the pdf I found, I need update 2.8.1. Does it say anything about that update?

I have a Job 1 2021 302a Xlt, with 360 cameras, non ACC. Last week when checking for update via FDRS, there was a new GWM update, when i checked again today, that GWM update was gone. And i did not get the update through OTA, could it have been a bad update and they removed it? Or, why would it disappear off FDRS.

You sure weren't lying. I tried twice last night while connected to the charger with no luck. I left the charger on it all night, still failed this morning. I may need a charger with more amps.
So just got the truck out of a dealer that was there 3 weeks. They said they got some things to update but not everything and they had 2 parts on order (on backorder) and would try again when they came in. Still do not see the truck received any OTA updates but can someone rerun the VIN and see if anything looks like it got updated while in there

'While attempting bluecruise FSA the APIM would not update, attempted APIM update repair process multiple times with different computers using all recommended adaptors per TSB for module repair process, APIM has no attempts left for the update repair process replacement of APIM necessary to complete the bluecruise update."
Now your APIM is locked out for at least 20 days before they can try again, or they have to order another one which I can tell you are on backorder. I also see they never performed the IPC update on your truck that is needed for BlueCruise, so I think you still have ways to go. But, they genuinely tried. I would reach out to @Jesse - Infotainment for help. From the knowledge I've gained following these issues, he may have a file he can send you that you install on a USB flash drive. You then leave the USB stick inserted in your truck for weeks if necessary, and eventually the truck will recognize it and it will install the fix for that issue. That won't resolve the issue of your IPC not being updated. I see they did several network scans and if the IPC update would have popped up, I'm sure they would have done it. It could be your truck has more than one issue preventing these updates from working. What a sh*t show.
I don't see Jesse on here very often. You may want to try reaching out to him on the F150gen14 forum. I'm not a tech or an expert, but from what I have learned, if you want your truck fully updated, be prepared to put in some work and shell out some money for the tool necessary to do it.
Yea they worked on your truck plenty and did plenty of updates. However, they got stuck on an APIM update so no BlueCruise for you. See notes from the tech below:
