Well while waiting on 2.6.0 to download it expired. Does that mean it will try and download again?

The answer is yes and yes. If the campaign is still active and not expired, it should try again very soon. However, if the campaign expired before it downloaded, it can take a while before it gets pushed out to your truck again. How long? Your guess is as good as anyone's. If you post your VIN, we can check to see if the campaign is still active or not.

That figures. I’ve got to take it in for service soon anyways, I may have the dealer update it all if they can. This is getting frustrating.

You do have the recalls to program everything under your VIN. You just need to hope they know what they're doing.

You can also reset everything manually by disconnecting the vehicle battery / batteries (if you have a PowerBoost).
I have had the same problem with 2.7.3 since 6/30. Two failure msg's from Fordpass, but truck shows I got 2.7.3. People checked for me and the ford system showed failure and it would try again. It wasn't showing a reason for the failure and no DTC's. Nothing has happened since then. I don't have ForScan, Could someone please check my VIN 1FTFW1ED5MFC06184 and tell me what the status is before I try the Battery disconnect method?

I got 2.8.1 yesterday....after about 3 or 4 failed manual attempts. It finally went thru with the auto update.
