Today I called my dealership and I was told that my service advisor is off still. The service manager wasn't there nor was the GM. I called Ford corporate and basically was told to call the dealership. I called another dealership and they had no clue about the 21G01 and would call me back. They never did. I finally called Executive Customer Services and they said they would look into it and get back to me. Amazingly 4 hours later I get in my truck and notice there was a software update and my truck was updated to 2.8.2 and I now have handsfree Blue Cruise. I don't know if it is a coincidence but when I called several weeks ago to customer service, that evening I got an OTA to 2.7.1. I called last week and within a few hours, I got the trailer update. I call today and got 2.8.2. I cannot view the cameras when driving yet.

 

Received this one this morning. I was a bit surprised to see it. From what I can tell it's for the 5.0 engine only. Received the trailer update on the 3rd. Hoping I can get past 2.7.1 soon.

2021-2022 F-150 Raptor/Tremor - 3.5L EcoBoost - Reduced Engine Power With Illuminated MIL And DTC P0299 In The PCM

 

Dropped the truck off yesterday to do recalls, oil change, etc. I brought up the BlueCruise programming since mine hasn't received the OTA yet, but I am getting close, and the advisor said he could add it but noted they have been having a lot of trouble with the BC update and the last one they did took about 10 hours. He said they would of course do it, but they already had a backlog on service so he said he didn't know how long they would really need the truck where they could get it a bay and charger for that long. I told him to just skip it. I have been getting OTA updates regularly, and coincidentally enough the OTA fix for the trailer brake controller came in the day I dropped it off for one of the fixes being the TBC reprogram.

They confirmed I have the newest software for the APIM and are going to update a few other modules. They are also waiting on the part for the underbody sagging issue as they had a bunch on hand but ran out, so should be in tomorrow.

Anyway, glad I am getting this stuff done, was kind of hoping at this point the BC update wouldn't be that bad but he said it's still a time consumer if nothing else. I also can't get the wiper motor fix as I didn't realize the fix for that isn't coming until later anyway.

They did a master reset on my Sync 4, so I need to remember to check that my intelligent adaptive cruise is working properly. I noted in here that after an earlier OTA update my Sync 4 ended up in an odd state where I can't see the speed limit detection and Intelligent Cruise options, although they were still working, so I just left it alone.

I think it's pretty nice that the PCM can be updated OTA. Now they should just start sending all the software updates out.

I received this one today as well and the trailer break relay on the 3rd. I'm sitting at 2.6.0 which I received on the 24th.
