Done, Put Bilstein 5100's all around at the 2.1 setting yesterday and having Cooper AT3 XLT's put on tomorrow. Went with 275/70/18 on the stock wheels. Just not enough mud and rocks on the interstate and roads to need more.

Doesdoes anyone have a lead on to where to get these I've already talked to stage three and four-wheel parts and they said four to six weeks.
I'm looking for front struts in the 2-in level area that are fully assembled ready to be installed I don't want to deal with taking my struts apart and doing it that way
Not knocking rancho, but Bilsteins look like they are the way to go. I ordered on Stage3, but found out Amazon could get them to me quicker than the 3 week backorder. I'm getting them put on this weekend along with 315 70 17 ridge grapps, and method nv.

I know nothing about Forscan, so if it is easier to point me to a different thread, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am coming from a 2012 Tacoma. Really enjoyed it, but way less tech to it haha.
Yes, you can use forscan. Yes, it does correct the tire size in the shift point calculations. And yes, you can buy a device to do the reprogramming. Most tuners will do this, there are also calibrators that only do this type of change made by hypertech and by rough country that allow you to change the tire size and the rear end ratio if you wind up changing that out.

Correcting your speedo readout should not change any shift map. If you want to do that you have other options, such as using Tow/Haul or Sport modes. If you're not towing, then use Sport mode. When using Sport, you can either leave your gear selector in Drive or you can use M (manual). Then of course you can purchase a tuner and a custom tune for your trans. I don't think it's entirely necessary, although I do wish my trans' shifts were firmer.

Congrats on the purchase of some Bilstein 6112s (and the 5100s for the rear - I am unaware of the differences between the 5100 rear shock and the 5160 as per any calibration. I only know the 5160 has an added fluid volume in the form of an external reservior).
So, misnomer here. You aren't correcting the speedo read out, you're setting the correct tire size in the truck's computer. That tire size setting is used for the speedometer, the odometer, and it's used to determine when to shift based on some complicated shift tables that are all over all of our heads. The effective final drive ratio is an important input in the shifting tables, and that effective final drive ratio changes when your tire size changes by 7%.

The Bilstein's are also like twice the price of the ranchos. I could say "not knocking Bilstein, but the Icons look like they are the way to go. I had mine put on in June". And then you'd say yeah but they cost 800 bucks more. And we'd both be right.

Bilstein 5100's are like $360 from stage3 lol. Ranchos are $450ish, if I remember correctly.

You're right - not sure why I was reading that as the bilstein 6112s. Benefit of the ranchos is you don't have to f around with a spring compressor.

Yeah, I should've stated which model from the beginning. Very true! I might just put on the rears, and have a shop do the fronts

thats the way to go unless you want to jack with taking apart the strut and compressing the springs and etc. rear is easy peasy, front requires a little more know how and proper tools.

Finally got around to finishing the leveling install on my 2020 Super crew. Rough Country 2" leveling kit. I decided to not put the blocks on the rear end. The apex of my front wheel wells was at 37 1/8" stock, and went up to 39 1/2" on the front right, and 39 3/4", front left. The rear wheel wells were at 40 1/4" each. I liked the way it looked at very close to level, and I don't want to raise up the rear end another 1 1/2" thus creating more rake. I was a little disappointed in the build quality of the rough country spacers, but I guess that's what you get for 100 bucks. The truck is new, once it comes time to replace the struts/shocks, I think I will pop these spacers out and go to a Fox coil-over system. I have a set of 5 33 x 10.8" DURATRACS in my garage that just landed on my doorstep, but I won't be able to make it to the tire shop for a few days.
