Its a “witness mark” to indicate that the fastener was checked for tightness and/or a torque setting. Done at the factory.

I would just like to lift the truck 1 inch all around (no more than 2). I like the "rake" look.
also, i have a feeling that if it was level, when I pull my 32ft camper, it will look like crap with the *** end down and the front end up.
right now, the camper levels out the truck.
I also a prefer a little bit of rake as opposed to being level, but I felt the factory rake was too much. I just got done adding a 2” front leveling kit + 2000lb air bag kit from air lift. The rear end increased 3/4” in height with 10lbs of air, and my ride improved! And no more sag when I hook my 30’ trailer up. (You could easily do the same with just a 1.5” leveling kit) I also added 10ply 285/60/20 tires, and I love the ride and look. Here’s before and after photos of just the truck. (Truck and trailer photos could be provided too if that’s helpful.

Default 19 F150 SCREW King Ranch

19 SCREW King Ranch with 2.5" level from Mammoth, Raptor Take Offs and 315/70/16 BFG K02s.

I only took a brief test drive (no freeway yet) but the ride is compliant, steering feel is actually a bit lighter, and turn in is only slightly less crisp than with the lo-pro OE tires.

Height at the roof just behind the windshield went from 72" stock to ~77".

Before-with the front end level installed.

After. Stoked!

1.5” level spacer and Roadmaster RAS set at thinnest gap. I tow a travel travel so I like a little rake still. It’s even when towing. Perfect for me. Stock 20s and 275/55-20 KO2s. I may go a bit taller on the next set.
