The Leveling Kit Thread
keep in mind you may have 3" rake as it is now, but once you jack the front up 2.5" you will see the rake will probably be even out. Not 1/2" like you would think, as you change the geometry of the truck the dimensions can shift a little.
I have 3” rake, 4x4, 145”, 7000#, max tow and want 1 “ rake left when “leveled”.
Will 2” Fox 2.0s, 5100s or what do it? I have no idea because everybody seems to have different results, at least not consistent results. So an adjustable, more expensive route, gives one a way to get exactly what they want by readjusting as needed if first time fails to give proper results, again more expensive for those who are not capable of doing it themselves.
Good luck

Leveling is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

thank you for the info I guess I’ll order some and see how I like it and what level I come to.
So trying to decide which kit to use. I have the rear blocks removed on my truck and I wanna add them back, but when I do I also wanna lift the front up a hair. Thinking of doing a 1.5" kit. I have a Supreme Suspension 1.5" thick spacer and was told it was a 2" lift but others said it would be a 2.5" level.
Here how she is now with out the rear blocks and 275/65r20. I am thinking I might run a 1/4" or 1.5" spacer as well.

Front

rear

I'm guessing to do the 1.5" spacer I will definetly need to level it.

Only thing i wish is that they had a 2.5 inch setting. Either way it looks pretty level...thats .5 inches of rake

Yep completely stock fron suspension in thr pic. No rear block on factory 20s. No scrub or anything. Im afraid with a 2" it will look too narrow with the 275s. I really only want about a 1" of lift...may way just to bilsteins or when these wheels and tires ware out go more agressive. But right now no rub scrub or anthing amd with the 275/65r20 there only 44lbs so plenty of power and good gas mileage.
Looks good and I'm glad to hear you have had no problems. I am considering new struts since I'm at 120k miles. I have received advice to replace them and also been told not to bother unless they are leaking. I talked to the shop some more. They suggest I go with the 1.5" ReadyLift kit and adjustable struts. If it doesn't quite level with the 1.5 kit they can lengthen the strut to make up the difference. Sounds reasonable to me.
