Rear: 40" leaving an OEM 2 3/4" rake

After Rough Country 2" level:

Front: 39 1/4
Rear: 39 3/4

Leaving a half inch rake

A 1/2" to 3/4" rake is what I was looking for with half tank of gas so the Rough Country.2" kit worked well for me.

looks so awesome!

I know someone mentioned before about possibly needing to argue with the dealer on warranty work if you do strut extensions and something happens in the front end.

what about if you do new struts and voila? Seems like this would be an easier argument... any feedback?

Ford is now offering level and lift kits so I don't see how a simple Rough Country 2" leveling spacers could void anything.

It sounds like you have had good luck with spacers, not a much rougher ride ect, is that correct?

Are the Rancho's adjustable?
After installing the 2.5" spacers on my RCLB, the suspension got less rough if anything. I attribute this to the tires, as I went from a 32" factory tire at 48 psi to a 34" Nitto Terra Grappler G2 at 40 psi. It rides over potholes and cracks in the road noticeably better.

Did you have to do anything to the drive shaft bearing?
Like, shim it down?
Or is 2" not enough to worry about it?

With a large front end lift they recommend lowering the front differential. Generally they say you do not need to do this until you get over 3" lift. When I added the front grumper, the front end dropped almost 1/2" at the front wheel well, so I really only lifted it 2" over stock. Honestly I haven't used 4WD yet so I have no idea if there are any problems, but I highly doubt it.

My solution to this is to have my dealership do the install (they are a procomp dealer). Granted this is not the most cost effective method but they say aslong as they do the work the level will not have any impact on my oem and extended warranty. They sell new trucks with 6 inch lifts on 35's so I have some faith they know what there doing lol.
Ask your dealer what they think of levels and or lifts vs your warranty, it never hurts to ask and you would be surprised how flexible some dealers are.

Default 2015 F150 XLT 4x4 leveled with blistein 5100

Just leveled my 2015 XLT 4x4 with bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable shocks. Came out pretty good. Using the highest adjustment I gained 2.25 front lift off stock. Before and after...

On a side note, I rented strut compressors, they scared the heck out of me as they flexed hard before they even took the load off the stock set up let alone compressing them enough to go on the new shocks. So Since my truck was all the way at parade rest and I had no way to get to a store I used 3 ratchet straps; worked out great! honestly aside from the set up it was much easier and felt more controlled than the screw type compressors. Before I get blasted for safety, I knew the risks associated and re-evaluated with each click of each ratchet strap and it was much better than the rented strut compressors...

The Icon 2.5 CDCV fronts, Icon 2.0 rears, Icon Delta UCAs, and the Autospring AAL showed up yesterday, and Discount Tire Direct outdid themselves and my wheels and tires showed up today (Fedex said Monday).

Got the fronts on today, it definitely took several hours doing it solo. The first side was the longest, as always. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to
grease and then tighten the UCAs bushing bolts when at full droop, especially since the zerks are underneath the bushings. Essentially at full droop the zerk on one side is completely hidden. I’m not sure why Icon didn’t put them on top of these arms.

Finished up in the dark, but here’s some crappy pics into the sunset. More pics to come tomorrow and when doing the rear. I’m extremely happy with the whole setup so far, and I’m loving the Black Rhino warlord wheels! Way better than the stock king ranch ones.
