Hey Bat Man how about a pic of the truck ?

I am attempting to install 5100s on the front of my truck, 2017 v8 4wd screw. I have a 2 inch leveling kit installed which I was planning to remove.

However, I am struggling to get the factory shock/strut assembly out. Seems with the leveling kit installed there's not enough room when pushing down on lower control arm to take it out. Would the best way to remove the assembly be to unbolt the lower control arm?

You could, but that's a good way to screw up your alignment, even though you should get an alignment afterwards. I take it you didn't take out the spindle nut, and slide the knuckle outwards?

I basically followed the instructions detailed in the Stage 3 video. Forgive me, but which one is the spindle nut?

*Edited to add that I believe the spindle nut is the one under the dust cover? Should I let the knuckle slide completely outwards? I did that but it appeared the only thing holding the knuckle was a cable. Therefore I loosely attached the nut so the knuckle didn't just hang.

Ya, those videos leave a few things out. Yes, that's the spindle nut under the dust cap.Make sure you don't let go of the knuckle, and just slide the knuckle out, the halfshaft will slide out of the IWE, then wire the knuckle up to support it so you don't damage the brake line or ABS line. You may still have to pry the LCA down a bit with a prybar or something.
I also know that video leaves out how to align the teeth on the hub and halfshaft, so here's a GOOD video on how to do it.

Before and after with 5100's front and rear. Front set at 1.75...still have 1" rake! Goodyear Ultra Terrain 275/60r20

Just pull one bolt out of the control arm and let it hang from the other bolt it will give you the room you need without worry of damaging the IWE, you will need an alignment afterwards anyway.

Are you referring to the lower control arm? Thanks so much!
