The Icon 2.5 CDCV fronts, Icon 2.0 rears, Icon Delta UCAs, and the Autospring AAL showed up yesterday, and Discount Tire Direct outdid themselves and my wheels and tires showed up today (Fedex said Monday).
Got the fronts on today, it definitely took several hours doing it solo. The first side was the longest, as always. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to
grease and then tighten the UCAs bushing bolts when at full droop, especially since the zerks are underneath the bushings. Essentially at full droop the zerk on one side is completely hidden. I’m not sure why Icon didn’t put them on top of these arms.
Finished up in the dark, but here’s some crappy pics into the sunset. More pics to come tomorrow and when doing the rear. I’m extremely happy with the whole setup so far, and I’m loving the Black Rhino warlord wheels! Way better than the stock king ranch ones.
Looking great! Did same thing ordering shipped mounted and balanced but went with wheelsforless. Was a draw between the 2. Better wheel pricing at wheelsforless (at least for fuel vapor) but only tire selection is nitto....

Hoping once they arrive looking as great as yours
I was pretty bullish on K02s and got $80 off on the wheels and $80 on the tires during the last promotion. Turned out of be a steal. Plus I can take them to my
local discount tire if they show up with a problem.
Got the rears on today, along with the AAL. I might crank the front up another 1/4 to 1/2”. On the gravel pad I installed everything on, one front side is about 1/4 to 1/2” higher than the other, so I need to take them to a flatter paved spot and measure before cranking.
I’m pretty sold on Icon wheels. Thinking of going to your size as well on 2.0 or 2.5 coilovers. My only worry is the weight of the 285/75/17 vs my current stock 285/55/20. Considering the 275/70/17 simply for the lower poundage. Stock tires are 41lbs vs 65lbs. Granted the icon wheels may be about 15ish lbs lighter than my 20s.

How big of an mpg/performance hit did you see?
Thanks. It turned out great.
I noticed the power loss right after the lift. I’ve only driven it about 800 miles since but it’s not as noticeable anymore. A bit slower acceleration. Mpg probably went down about 1.5-2mpg according to stock computer around town. I haven’t driven many highway miles since the install. I’ve considered going to 4.10 gearing, but I’ll drive it for a while and see.

Nice! Yeah, I’m not entirely sure what my gearing is but I think it’s just stock. But I have the 18 3.5L EcoBoost with a 10 speed so I know the gearing isn’t a huge a deal. I appreciate the response. Can’t wait to upgrade but I’m waiting till some Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals come about.
Hi everyone, new here to the forum, recently i been doing some research to level my F150 17-2.7L 4WD. I purchased the Bilstein B8 6112 - Suspension Kit - 47-258075 front & the 5100 rear, I'm looking for suggestions on the wheels / tire size. Not familiar with those, but i did the that the -12mm is the preferable look. I see some 20s" - 35 tires locally, but some post i read said its best for 18's & 33. Any experience / suggestion would be greatly appreciated. PS I do tow / haul from times to time on some home remodel, not sure if it matters or affect. Also I'm in the Houston area, so if you have any recommendation for shop to install the level kit, shoot me a pm.
18's and 33's will give you more sidewall, I'm not one for little sidewalls. Said that, I'm using 17" Raptors with the 315/70/17 KO2s, that's a +34 offset, but stick out far enough that it looks right IMO. Plus, with a 2.5" level, there's no trimming or rubbing. With the 33" you might get away with -12, I'm not sure though. I'm a firm believer, that if you have trim and spread/remove crashbars, the combination doesn't fit. There's many that will disagree, but that's fine, it's simply my opinion.

If you look at my post in the thread above, I'm running 17x9 +12 wheels and 285/75r17 BFG KO2 tires (roughly 34" tall and 11.2" wide). They will give you an idea of how much the tire sticks out. I wouldn't go any wider than that if you want a larger tire. It seems the sweet spot for the largest tire (height and width) without rubbing is about +20 on a 9" wheel. Note that a +20 offset on a 9" wide wheel is different that a +20 offset on a 8.5" wheel (the width of stock F150 and i think Raptor wheels).
Since you won't be in the snow and ice regularly, I would recommend looking at a 285/75r18 tire (BFGs that I use for winter driving don't come in that size or anything similar). That's roughly a 34.8"x11.2" tires. It will fill the wheel well, yet isn't the 35x12.5" wider tire that causes a lot of rubbing issues. Folks seem to be able to run around 35x11 tires without spreading crash bars or trimming as long as they keep in the double digit positive offset space on a 9" wheel. Otherwise, you would want to run 33-34" tires to be safe.
I used to live in Houston, but did most of the installs myself so unfortunately I don't have a shop to recommend.
