Sadly theres a sucker born every minute, cant imagine what people are paying them for a 6inch lift lol. I paid $400 all in, 2inch rough country level, labor and alignment to a buddy that is a Ford mechanic, so all is kosher with my warranty.
On the exchange rate (actually had to get more american money at the bank today) I paid $134 cdn for every $100 usd, our money might aswell be toilet paper hahaha

I thought $400 was fair to still to basically have Ford do it and warranty it all, I def coulda saved some cash doing it my self but I am only home 2 days a week and mabe a night in between. I liked it when the exchange rate was par but my tax return likes it the way it is now lol.

Wow, that's too bad, not enough truck parking in the more populated areas.
Ya, I'm not sure why some do and some don't. I know I had to get cambolts for my Ranger, but that has torsion bars, and I had cranked them up. Maybe @Apples could explain, he's got a good feel on suspensions.

As far as camber/caster correction hardware being needed in some cases and not in others... I think half of the "needed" aren't really needed and it is shops simply taking advantage of the customer. In other cases, the truck simply isn't "square"!
Go measure your bed, for example. The driver side will be so many inches deep, the passenger side of the box will be over 1/4" longer, or vice versa.
How centered, really, is your rear axle housing relative to the leaf springs? To the frame rails? What about the front upper control arms? Are the spring perches they attach near to also welded onto the frame in precisely the same spot on every frame? Only your Ford assembly line employee knows for sure.
One would think that in today's age of CNC/robotic measuring, cutting, welding and assembly these trucks would be square down to 1/32"... but they're not. They are assembled hastily, and assembly jigs do wear. Who knows.
