2016 Tracking Thread
I'm not sure when you did your search, but even though Perry Ford showed that they had the two trucks in inventory, only one of them (mine) was actually on their lot. The other white one was still in transit and is probably on their lot already. So, for anyone in the San Diego area looking for a fully loaded '16 White Platinum go to Perry Ford in Poway, CA. Blackout44, perhaps we'll run into each other on the road sometime (figuratively, of course).
Hey fellow San Diegan, your story sounds identical to mine. Gave up on my 10/15 order (11/2 build) that still hasn't shown up. Finally submitted a new order and much happier knowing it'll get here without the ~1.5 month Michigan weather treatment.
Is anyone able to get their vin# to work in COTUS? My# 1FTEW1EG7GFA74913 doesn't work, yet I can pull up a window sticker and find it in ETIS...urrrr if anyone can get my vin# to run in COTUS, please send me a screen shot. Thanks-

If I was you I would get something to wash crow down with there not going to do S*&t I thought the same thing I wanted them to change X plan to A and told no way and then I said how about some other rebate or anything for the inconvenience and told no again, if you thought the dealers were bad the whole process is set up to screw you out of as much money as they can and it won't change as long as we keep buying and paying the price
If they fail to deliver it's not there fault, it's the factory what I'm saying is the whole process from dealer to factory is rigged. When you walk in a car dealer and buy a car I don't care how good of a deal you may think you got, they made money on you or they won't sell the car, they also know if they don't sell to you they will to someone else. When we have a situation like ours it's out of the dealers hands and the factory should and should have handled this better, like tell us what is going on and how long for delays and most important, take care of the special order trucks first after all we are the true Ford customers they should respect. So after all the delays and bad feelings Ford should offer us some compensation, but they don't they just say do you want it or not, if you don't we will sell it to someone else for the same full price. One final thought, how do you think this would have turn out if this situation was made more public like the 6:00 news?
If I haven't said this before I will say it now, they should see special orders as a priority, we are the ones waiting for our trucks. The dealers can wait as they get trucks and cars regularly. I hope your not going to say their system can't do this function, this is 2015 and they are a multi million dollar Co. I think they choose not to, maybe because it's just not that important to them and as I said before they will still sell cars and trucks with or without us special order people.
