Is it "normal" to get a VIN this quick?
Some receive a VIN the Thursday after their order if it is a popular build. Others may have to wait until the following Thursday.

Does anyone know how they appoint a build to which factory. I'm on the West Coast of Canada and mine is being built in Dearborn. That seems odd as the other factory in KC is much closer to us. Is that normal? The truck will be frozen solid by the time it gets to me. Lol.

Texasboy.... I had the same concerns with power drain and MPG loss especially with the 355 rear end. Decided the 34.1" dia. tires with 2" level would be a good compromise for this old duffer. Besides, the shop had the 2" level and 275's in stock and the time to put them on "right now" including the wheel alignment. I hated that nose down rake and looked like a goat eating grass. Even the automatic running boards were too low in the down position to be practical. Much more useful now after the 3" increase in overall height. Yours will look great ....go for it and send pictures!

Looking good! Like the 2" lift. Just right for my taste as well.
