I was lucky that the local dealer had exactly what I was looking for...2016 black Platinum, Screw, 3.5EB, 4x4 off-road, 701a, HD trailer package, moon roof, ext fuel tank, active park assist. It had 5 miles on it when i test drove it. Dealer said it hit their lot the day before Thanksgiving. Actually I wanted to get the Limited, but couldn't wait any longer and couldn't justify the premium for essentially cool trim pieces. 9 days old now, 700 miles, filled up once. LOVE the truck. Sadly already got a stone chip on the windshield but got it fixed today...traumatic to get tagged by a rock when you still have that new truck smell. Anyway, no major issues so far. Seats heat and cool properly, moon roof doesn't leak. A bit of wind noise from the driver's side but not unusually bad. Gas mileage is crappy, but what do you expect...got close to 18 after making two 200 mile trips on highway, but I drive kind of fast. Only "complaint" if you call it that is the rear doors require a fair amount of force to close...definitely more than it should be, but not worthy sweating it. Did I say I love the truck? I have a huge smile every time I get in it and look for excuses to drive it.

Lets see some pics!

Well, as my mother says..."this too shall pass". One way or the other.

Exactly!!! I get more attention on a $10 meal than a $60k truck. I was the one that kept my dealer updated this entire time about VIN, status, window sticker, etc.

Mine was supposed to have been built on Monday 12/7. Dealer tells me it's a 12/30 delivery.

Is there anyone from the DC area that has received their Truck or has a delivery date? How long did it take for delivery from build date. Depending on what part of the country you live in, I've seen delivery on this forum, without any holds, take anywhere from 10 days to 4 weeks.

Has anyone considered that has been waiting a looooong time to renegotiate the price they agree to when ordered when the your truck finally gets here? I am,especially when I see what people are paying now.I plan on telling them no thank you and see what they say. The worse case,I will eat crow and agree to the ordered price. Thoughts?

This! It is all a matter of principle to me. I find it ridiculous it has been built for 6+ weeks, just sitting there, and know one can or WILL tell me when I might see it. I don't "need" a new truck, my Dodge has been very good to me for many years, and continues to be. Due to the Harley I don't put many miles on my truck, maybe 5-6k or so per year.

In my head I have an artificial date where I will say screw it and walk away. Will see if that actually happens should the truck come in after that.

Did you put money down? If you have been waiting a long time with no real tracking or updates, I would start the negotiation now. I would have a fair/honest talk with the dealership explaining your side and would expect you would get something. If not, I would start going up the Ford food chain (corporate) with your complaints. Don't wait until the last second.
