2016 Tracking Thread
Mine is officially at the dealership with pickup scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9 when I'll move from the "Wait Club" to the "Platinum Club". Pictures tomorrow and mods to follow shortly. I sincerely hope the 10/26 build group receive their trucks quickly!
Also-- if anyone gets any 'extras' for the wait or if there are any offers.. Please post!
My order date was Sept. 21st with build day Nov. 10th and "in-transit" the 11th. Like many of the 10/26 club, I don't understand why yours hasn't shipped. I honestly thought yours would be delivered earlier than mine and hopefully it will be very soon. The white tricoat will be worth the wait and I'll be watching for your pictures!
Wait till it arrives crawl underneath it while it is still at the dealer and take a look at the underside of the truck. Check out the transfer case, suspension components etc. There's a bunch of it that gets "overlooked" in the production process and as such a number of people on here have opted for the dealer provided undercoating or simply doing it themselves. It's just surface rust, but on a brand new truck it can be a real eye sore when you catch a glimpse of it. ...and if you do have the dealer do it, don't let them sell you "rust proofing". If it isn't immediately apparent why, check out the process in the video below and remember your body panels are aluminum.

Update. Vehicle delivery date now is pushed back yet again to 12/6. So much for the 6-8 weeks dealer promised. 11-1 original delivery date....pushed back 5 times. Just hoping I get it before end of year at this point. Now dealer is telling me he can't honor my private cash coupon which will be expired by then. Way to win over a first time ford buyer.
