EDIT: Eishh, maybe yuh didn't lol. Oh well, sounds like your going to fix it up.
I knew he dropped the t case and put a 2wd set up in when I bought it but I didn't look THAT close to see just how screwed up it was. I assumed it was good because it was his DD and had been like that for quite a few years. The truck was a deal I couldn't pass up regardless so I'm no worse for wear lol

Next vehicle I buy will definitely be getting a finer tooth comb than what I used on this one

We're at roughly 8900' here at the house. Where the pic was taken was probably closer to 9400'.

So I drove this silver Ranger on Saturday. They pulled a Top Gear with their wording on the doors of 3 out of the 4 trucks they let people drive.

The 3rd one said A.. Torque I thought it was funny. The Ford guy in the passenger seat was less amused.

Sooooo? How were they?

They are a unibody, right? Or did Ford actually use a frame?

These Rangers come with only 1 engine. A 2.3l turbo 4 shared with the Mustang. 270 HP and 310 ft-lbs is good when the turbo is spooled. I punched it few times but only once did it feel like it actually was working properly, the other times it was caught out by turbo lag. This was on the streets of downtown Seattle though so I couldn't really stretch it's legs very much. These were pre-production models, maybe the real ones will be better. It was fairly nice and comfortable inside but way to small. The Ford guy's elbow took the whole center arm rest, it was like being in compact car. No way that would happen in an F150. Overall I would choose a lower end F150 over a higher end Ranger based on my experience.

It has a frame. I think it's only the Honda Ridgeline that is unibody.

I work from my home office. When I have to go on customer visits (2-3 days a week), it's typically between 45 minutes and an hour depending on where they are. I try to stack a few appointments or events in a day to make the drive worthwhile. 14 MPG really sucks, though, regardless.

I'm surprised they did that, actually, unless someone was just not paying attention (hey, it happens). As for the size, it *is* a "small" pickup. There wasn't a whole lot of extra elbow room in either of the ones I had previously. At least they gave these some power. Too bad, though, the diesel isn't coming. I think that's the motor for these.

In the beginning it was a rumor that it would be a Unibody..... similar to the Aussie Ford Courier. Didn't think it was because of the visual separation of the bed and cab, but just making sure, lol.
.
Might actually consider another one now. I would own one right now if there was ever a US model of the 4 door. And I don't want an Explorer Sport Trac.

Well here's your chance. You probably can't order one with A.. Towing however.
