So what's left AFA rust 2100, the front fender ?

Tubines look perfect for that truck !
Yeah I've heard them called turbines, hurricanes, western cyclone IIs and fins... so yeah you're not wrong lol.

Yeah just that fender. I've got two spares in the garage I just need to decide which one to throw on.

Yea, Hurricane came to mind for some reason, couldn't place why though lol.

Good morning thinkers!- hope y’all are doing well-
JB- we had an E-350 van as a mill truck, and it did the same thing- it would get stuck in park, then, for no rhyme or reason, the damn thing would be ok for a while... iirc, it was loose bolts.- hope it dont leave her stranded!
fellers have a blessed Sunday!- ill catch up later!
Thanks for the info Bear. Yea she's not driving it again until I can look at it. Parked for now, no longer a big dilemma as it was earlier.

I'm recollecting all those names now. Those aren't slang names either.

Hadn't looked at the truck yet...well, I looked at it, - in passing. I'll get back over there in a few days I expect. Let you guys know what it was, eventually.

The wires for the brake switch break and can intermittently kill the shifter assy. A bad switch will too.

Well if anyone was curious about my axle question I SORTA got some answers.

Turns out my PO when he made my 4wd truck into a 2wd truck (don't know if y'all remember that but it looked like it was don't by a blind drunk monkey at night with no moon) decided to swap out the Dana60 for a Dana61 from an 81-85 f250. So my rear axle isn't original but that still doesn't explain the 9/16" wheel stud. I have a spare Dana60 so I'm going to get the detail from it and decide if I want to swap it in. I did check tho and it does have 1/2" wheel studs lol

He used two bolts probably not even grade 8. (... I never thought to check)and a piece of like 1" (1/2"? Can't remember but it wasn't big) square tubing to make a cross brace. Each bolt had about 10washers to fill in the gap. And then in the middle they "welded" this support piece. The long pic is a Panoramic if you're on a computer or phone that will do it justice.
