It is. LOL. Punishment for being a Ford fan maybe?

After yesterday, I can tell that he's going to need my help. He was going to try and do the plugs last night after I left. Doubting he got that far though. I just hope to hell one doesn't break. That would be the icing on the cake.

I just got one step closer to having the 5 lug conversion on my Mustang. Just found Dana axles for it on Rock Auto for 55 bucks a piece. What a screamin' deal!

He removed a lot more than he needed to. He took every pulley off, hoses, power steering pump (pretty sure just the pulley could have been removed), then the front cover, cam covers, etc. That was another thing I had to figure out. He put the top rad hose on backwards, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how the hose support was supposed to mount.

With the motor in the truck, a lot of guys discharge the A/C to get the passenger side cam cover off. I found that pulling the coils and the injectors/rail, that there was just enough clearance. It took a little more patience and time, but the A/C was untouched.

BTW, are the power steering pumps in our trucks such a PITA to replace? I'm going to admit, that sumbitc4 only got 3 bolts back in it. No way was I taking the damn hose back off to put the last bolt in.

Hmmm.... maybe I'm not the only one that puts 3 bolts back in?

Haha, most definitely! That being noticed by the wrong person anyway lol. I think anyone who gets a visual of your driveway...it's a dead giveaway. He's a neighbor if I remember correctly.

Did you leave the guy your new impact ? It's the tool of choice for 3V plugs...if you don't want to break them. It has the perfect setting for it.

Yea I had two 3V's in my driveway once changing plugs, I think I was doing headers at the time. Anyway, I let them use my tools and shared some tips, - definitely wouldn't do the work for them. Back then the little Ryobi Impacts were the favorite for the 3V's. I still have it, but the newer and much lighter brush-less models rule now.

No, I didn't. He did them by hand. All that's left if the pan. He told me he is going to try an do it tonight. So, we'll see. He told me that he really liked my 3V specific spark plug socket... see pic below. That pic is my 3V plug change kit, LOL.

That might work, depends on the hammer action as it can work against. If it works for you , great! Yea I don't have nothing I can dial down far enough in air tools. Well, I probably do but it would be more of hassle setting up for it.... tend to stick with the easy, -what I know won't break them. A little battery impact is as easy as you can get lol. They a much too easy to break by hand...even when you know what your doing. So knowing that much, I don't do dat.

It's not that strong. It's a 3/8 drive and it only has 250 ft. lbs of torque.
