He already said it won't start. He was in Salt Lake when I talked to him though. I think he forgot to plug the crank sensor in.

If they sit long enough, the fuel disappears in the lines and injectors. Well it will with the 2 valves I noticed. Like a sort of vapor lock I expect. Attempted to start one for an hour or so on one occasion and after it was down for quite awhile. No reason it wouldn't start, everything checked out.

Next day, fired up first try lol.

Hmmm... that's good to know. Just talked to him and he's almost home, and he's going to crawl under it and check. If that doesn't work, hopefully it'll fire tomorrow. I think he's going to need to borrow my battery charger again, lol.

LOL.... he just messaged me. It wasn't plugged in, and it does start and run. But said it runs like crap. Thinking its a vacuum leak.

Whitey.....was the cam gear or chains changed while this was apart or was the front cover off? I'm asking because I want to know if you held the gears solid and how you did it. Did you have to get the tools from AZ or OR? I know there is a crank holding tool and also cam holders. I haven't had to get into one of these in many years, so I know I don't have the correct tools here. I can always make up some, but was just wondering what you used, if it was apart and had to go back together.
