I took the Expy off road tonight.... did some minor stuff. I wanted to go into an area where all of the ATV's and bikes go, but my Wife didn't want me to scare some of the kids in there, LOL. I think I'll end up over there.... that thing likes to wheel.
Yea, didn't think they made mine anymore, they do -

I can assure you I didn't pay that price for it lol. It was a little pricey tho back then, maybe 300 or so. I got the Flash light combo package. Hell, they make so many in this size, not sure what the advantages and disadvantages are anymore. Curious why it's so expensive on Amazon now. Damn thing runs forever w/o a charge with that little BL motor.
Anyway , there's the "Hook". Hooks right in the pocket and stays there. Mine a extra bit carrier on the other side. Good carrier because it's made to hold a bit set up, complete vs just an end bit....if you know what I mean.

Don't break mamas grocery getter, you'll be in trouble...

Oh, OK. Mine looks like it has a spot for one. Guess I'll have to see if I can find one. I agree, I used my DeWalt BL drill quite a bit before it died. But when it died, it was done. LOL. It was full hilt, and then BAM. I had one of the 1.8.... or maybe they are 1.3ah batteries in it.

The Expy, luckily, isn't her daily. She mostly drives the Escape.

BTW, I changed the oil in the little 'Yota today, and decided to try the EcoGard filters that Blupupher posted about. I got a couple of them and cut one open. For a cheap filter, they are built extremely well. I'll give one a 5,000 mile run and see how it does.

Yea, everything thawed completely yesterday is my guess, it got up into the 40's here 2 days straight. The kitchen sink tank has been frozen for awhile. Drained to much at one time and didn't get used enough before I left. So it left it with too little water in the tank once, it froze. I try to keep all 4 tanks full, I was using the kitchen faucet when I was out there to wash up after working on it.....guess I didn't stay clean enough that day lol.

Yea, they have the plumbing set up completely for everything. All the T's, valves, low point drains etc..For winterizing and draining. The only thing I incorporated was Macerator, (grinder/pump). So I would never have to deal with a stinky slinky...if you know what I mean. One the first mods done. I also dug a huge hole in the yard to find the sewer pipe there. Tapped the pipe and ran a clean-out to the surface. This way I didn't have to drag a 3/4" inside the house and shove it down the toilet to clean-out. That wouldn't of went over well lol.

I think what I really have to do is add some kind of insulated skirting. But man, it's big stuff to store when not in use. I guess I could straw bail it in the winter...haven't decided.

Speaking of inclement weather.... we are supposed to get 6 to 8 inches of snow between Sunday and Monday. I hate late winters, LOL.

You had a BL that died ? How long did it last ? Mine hits the ground as well, once or twice every time I use the thing anymore. Hell, I couldn't find the battery after a fall on one occasion. Hit so damn hard the battery ran and hid under the welder on the other side of the shop.
I did break the FL once...crushed it in the front suspension of the truck letting the jack down. Yellow shrapnel everywhere..quite traumatic. I ordered another.

Sorry.... I meant the battery died, not the whole drill. The tools work great so far, only dropped the drill once, and it was only about 16 inches off my stepping stool I use to do ceilings. I've seen shells being sold around the interwebs for DeWalts now.... so if you just damage the body, it's fixable.

Oh alright, yea I seen you can purchase the housings. I broke the flash lights LED connection. It's spot welded copper in such a way it couldn't be soldered. But hell, 30 bucks for just the FL...worth it!

My friend that has the 1/4" impact also has the FL. We didn't use it though because I had my Blue Fuel with me. I'll have to check it out next time I go over (maybe tomorrow).

Yea, I have a couple of those. I like Dewalt because you can position it, so it's hands free. Don't have to jam it the pie hole for the same type advantage.
