Ya I’ll probably be here for another 3 weeks at least. I did however borrow a garage from a coworker, I was going to do it in the motel parking lot originally. Glad I didn’t as sunday was a rain day. Heated garage would have been nice though lol.

Thanks, but we are referring to the vehicle frame behind the passenger side tire, not up top. You have to read further to know what he meant. Yea he was referring to the frame rail. We all have those brackets there.

Not that Ford doesn't have quirks.... but GM's seem to have more electrical issues than other manufacturers.
GM is bad as you say, but FCA/Dodge is a freaking nightmare. Small cheap wiring for major loads, junk connectors in certain hard to get to areas, and the list goes on. I'd have to be drunk or stoned to buy an FCA POS. Mexican made (3 first on VIN) is by far the absolute worst of all Dodge's.

Stuck in traffic with CEL on and a limping 4.6 - think it's a cylinder misfire. Ugh

Ya it sure did, luckily it only took me a little over an hour to do it. The brakes are so easy even with the expy swap.

Cylinder 7. As I recall, it was the funnest to change, LOL. Doesn't matter though, if I replace one.... I do all 8. I don't do half-***.

I have quite a few (probably 16) of the original half thread plugs for these.... almost tempted to run them.
