drove the ranger for the first time in about 2 weeks yesterday, had to stop at the store on the way home. As I'm unlocking the door, I hear a hey from across the parking lot and i see this guy coming over, he wanted to look at the truck, he asked what year it was, was amazed at the condition and the mileage of the truck. I told him the back story of it, he didn't want to buy it, just wanted to know about it. He had a 2011 ranger with over 200k on it.

 

in other news, started the process on buying my lease out yesterday. I can't touch a new truck for what my payments would be including an extended warranty

The first one was easy,

Funk = clunk.

Knew it hydro-locked half way through, before he mentioned it. But he's correct, engine hydro-locked, then blew and now locked up. May of got lucky and just hydro-locked. Doubt it, most likley blown or hurt real bad inside.

Didn't look at the second yet.

EDIT: I know what and where, can't recall the official name of that one. Amazon use to sell them, RA might have them as well. They are sold with those connectors pre installed

You know enough to give them something...if that's what your after. Prob find the hose on RA if you want, try emission hoses over there.
