I've got some Alaskan halibut and lingcod in the freezer. I think the halibut needs some batter and the fryer though.

Never had the lingcod though... the lady my Wife works for gave it to us.

Just grillin lately, haven't smoked since labor day.

Hey white , have you guessed what Matts surprise build is going to be ? Pretty sure I know what it is. That was cool he saved that elderly couple the other night. Good thing he thought about double checking after the fact. That could of went terribly bad. Man, what a good guy he is, they all are.

My gut feeling is they are rescuing a famous vehicle. Not sure though.... what's your guess? As I recall, Paul is going with him.

I agree, that was a pretty scary deal for him with that elderly couple. You could see it in his face that he genuinely was concerned.

It's Wednesday, so we'll be getting a new vid from him and Paul today.

Is it a night shift that does the damage, Bear?

So, I need to put a shine on this hood I just painted. I went to use my old Wen 7000 10" polisher, and found that my next door neighbor (that has since moved away) really effed it up when they used it on their boat. I went over to HF to look for a replacement, and ran into a guy that polishes cars for a living. He told me to stay away from the 10 inch polishers, and to go with a 7" machine. He recommended the Bauer if I was going to be doing a lot of it, but he said he has the Warrior (which is on sale right now for $33) and that it works really well, just not as robust as the Bauer. Then he took the time to go over the different polishing compounds with me. Really cool guy for taking the time to share his experience with me.

I told him "I'm not making a career out of it, I'm just doing it for a hobby". He said "oh, and I wouldn't recommend it as a career", LOL.

It's fun as a hobby but a terrible career choice, even just from the back pain and finger buzzing perspective.

Good thing I hate doing body work and all that crap then, LOL.

Big Utah news for the day.... a few years ago, the Larry H. Miller family quit doing the Miller Motorsports Park, which has now become Utah Motorsports Campus. Last year, they sold off the majority share of the Utah Jazz. Today, they are selling off their entire dealership chain to Asbury Automotive for 3.2 billion dollars. Anyone know anything about this Asbury Automotive?

EDIT: LMAO - it won't let me post the link because of what it thinks is a bad word

Military truck, 6 wheel drive. Sort of like Caseys. Paul, Matt, SMA and USWNT Soccer is all I'm scribed up on at the tube..... and The Eight Nine Garage of course, can't forget that one. Your subscribers have more than doubled from the last time I looked.

Yea Pauls only been doing Fab Rats for a year or so....quit his real job last week. Full on Tuber now..that's great!

BTW, - the 3M compounds use to be the best money can buy. Not sure if that's still true, I seen their stuff fix some nasty paint in the past.
