Quit possible, if it's a she and a looker.

Hopefully so...I've read that the 97-98s are different. Was just curious as to whether or not I'd have to buy anything besides the leaf springs, such as hardware, shackles etc...probably gonna need upgraded shocks for the extra ride height..and I guess it'll be cranking the t bars (or some 7700s) to get the front reasonably close in ride height.

Well then don't take my word for it because I don't know for sure.

Screw all that, go SAS, -

Went to the wrecking yard with my Buddy today.... we saw a 99 Expedition with a lot of the front torn off of it. I decided to grab the header panel off of it so I can finally utilize my Lightning headlights. Probably ought to really start rounding up a core support too. The F150 is going to get a little love this summer.

I can tell you with certainty that there are a few derby cars sitting out in Gumby's yard. I've been paying attention.

I bought my 5 4/1 Springs from General Spring KS. They are for 97-03 and are about $150 each. Here's a link to figure which you need.

My thread on the spring swap. It's been so long and I have built so many other things in the mean time, I forget the details. I make these threads to reference my process and remember later.

CO was referring to the front suspension. Reason for the SAS comment and pic. Notice the leafs under the front end in the pic ? That's a SAS swap.

In case you hadn't caught that.
