Nice Whitey. I thought I had that figured right and JBrew sort of made me sure. lol
On the bright side, Anchorage for the first time in 58 days broke above 32 degrees. Starting to get nice outside this am too. Mid to high 30's today (cue the melting roads) and maybe, just maybe I'll be able to see blue again. lol. She's so buried in the snow, along with my Fusion. Hell, you wouldn't know there was a car there, other than the odd bump. rofl.
Time to figure if I can make it to the store today, or if I can get my son to go get me some supplies. Too bad he works nights, so it makes it difficult to use him during the day.
I knew that at least two of you would catch my drift.
How you been Brew? Are you getting any weather at your place? We just got off a long stretch of rain, but it's looking nice today (so far).
Was catching up on the site, your post was the first look lol.
Doin great! Went on a caloric deficit diet 3 weeks ago and dropped a lot of weight. Most of that was water weight I think, not sure... I call it winter weight lol. Offed sugars and caffeine as well..no more Oreo's for awhile. Beginning strength training next week, that's going to be a drag, - not looking forward to it. Guess that's what some have to do in their 50's , - or you may fall apart lol. Feels good though.
Rained here today as well, not much. Weather is right where I like it, high 60's , low 70's today. It's going to be dropping again tomorrow.
Not trying to rub it in, AK.... well, maybe a little? I hope you get unburied soon! How's the knee today?
We are supposed to get a little mix of rain/snow tomorrow... then this is our forecast for the weekend.... not too bad.
I'd like it a little warmer like you have, Brew. I hear you on the "weight". Through all of 2020, I wasn't nearly as active as I usually am. It caught up with me, now I gotta catch up with it.
Sucks being laid up, having to rely on others....you get too far behind. I haven't been where your at yet AK. My Mother had both knees done eventually, The first time was the worst. She's a busy body...hated being down. I know how crazy that made her...so I can imagine what your going through.
Actually not too bad Whitey. It's still a bit sore at times when it's the most inconvenient, but isn't that the norm?
Jan 29th I was at 217 on the hospital's scales. On Thursday when I had surgery, I was at 203, and today, I'm at 196. I'm thinking I feel good at this weight and might just stay at this point for a while. Hell, I could probably be 180 next week if I quit drinking the Cokes.
I'm too big of a busy body too... I desperately need my left rotator cuff done. It's been bad for a good 8 years now. It's the main reason I started going to all power tools, so I guess I'm glad for that, LOL.
Coke was a really hard thing for me to quit drinking. I still crave one. It's been 5 years in July.
Pepsi products was my go-to, like Mountain Dew. I think that's the worst pop you can drink. I get sugar cravings. No cravings or withdrawals from caffeine like I thought I would have.
My sleep has been sort of messed up for some reason, I wake up at up at night craving something. Not really hungry. So I pinned that on sugar as well. Sleep seems to be gradually getting better.
Might be due to to something else. There's a lot more chicken and fish in my diet now....and those damned veggies. Not a fan of most veggies...gag
