If my Old truck knows what's good for him, he'll start playing nice, because I just ordered a less old Jeep from carmax. :P I have always wanted a v8 grand cherokee so I found one pretty cheap with a warranty. After we buy the new house, I'll redo the truck.

Today I loaded the approximate weight of the bumper and winch I'll be installing (if i do my build project) onto the nose and measured just about a 1/2" suspension drop. Is that enough to warrant a t-bar upgrade, or would it be smarter to adjust that out with the factory-rated t-bar?

T-bar upgrade? As in keys or aftermarket T bars? Not sure tbh...
Finally got the passenger door panel in...waiting on the driver's side until I can get the mirror working right on that side. Paint isn't the best, but I'm waiting on the mortgage before I pony up for the repaint with SEM...hopefully in a climate controlled painting area, lol.

No, as in 7700 bars.

Last I knew, 7700 T bars were out of production. I wouldn't wast my time with them even if I had a plow upfront.

I agree except for one small change.

They are out of production and there are no aftermarket bars, at least not that I could find. My driver's side bar collapsed from being cranked by the PO, so I was planning to get used replacements, and thought I would go for the stiffer ones while I was at it, to offset the new bumper. However, I was also thinking that all that weight, all the way out on the nose, would have had more impact than 1/2". The GVWR rating gap between the bars I have and the 7700s is a bit larger than 230 lbs (maybe twice that),

Wonder if you can have a shop manufacture new ones...

With the 7700 rear leafs, would they bolt right into a 98? I've been reading up on some of the threads, and they talk about a 7700 f150 model for 97-98's. Anyone got a part # for the 7700 leaf springs that would bolt into my truck? 98 4x4 reg cab long bed...

On another note, I was putting the passenger kick panel in when I saw what you see in the pic below. Pretty sure there is no air suspension in my truck...right?

I would expect that would be exorbitantly expensive. I found a thread on here where some guy got an aftermarket mfr to make and stock "7700+" bars that were over $1k a pair. They appear to be out of business now.

I believe they bolt right in. Wolvee has them in his later MY SuperCrew.
