Some sites say distilled water only in a cooling system, others say use soft water because distilled will destroy it. What the....??? I've been using distilled for decades.

Never heard of that, sodium, then eventually sodium hydroxide is very corrosive to metal. Soft water would be a no no imo.

had the oil changed in the edge on saturday, front brakes are at 5s, state min is 2 so at inspection time in a couple months those are getting replaced, tires are at 6s so before next winter im going to put tires on it
