Great pics noobs, funny, noticed the Dipps in that one pic, took awhile to notice the backpack. Either good camo, or feening for the perfect snack this morning lol.

Ever thought about taking a drone along. Might add to the fun.. if it wasn't too much work. You could probably loose one easy out there though.

Thanks for the pics. Fun stuff

Started out the day with the intentions of doing a head gasket on my niece's Camry.... this all based off of pictures, and what he was telling me it was doing. It also had a stuck t-stat, which he replaced and it made things much better, but still leaking.

After getting into it.... the plugs had no evidence of coolant, no milky oil, and the antifreeze looked fine as well. No bubbling in the rad.... but it had a steady drip of antifreeze dripping from the motor. We got to a spot where I told my Brother that I was abandoning the head gasket operation because there was no evidence of gasket failure. I took off the timing cover, and found a little antifreeze in there. So I directed my attention to the water pump. My hunch was accurate. Wound up replacing the pump and housing, because it was the same price either way at O'Reilly.

This was the leak:
Ruling out a head gasket issue was BIG. Does he realize how big that was ? Success!

Yes he does... He had Youtube'd it. A guy did a two part video on it, which was pretty decent. I also had told him that if it was bad, I was going to take it to Hunter Machine.

My "to do" list is growing. I currently have a list with 7 transmissions on it that I was asked about over the weekend. Had a guy hit me up about doing the trans and motor in his 1950 Chevy Custom. ****... maybe I will start doing my own thing.

I finally spent a minute on one of MY projects tonight.

Got the paint finished on some of the parts....

Got the lower control arm back in there... the MM spring installer should be here tomorrow. The great debate in my head right now is "do I cut the springs?".

I didn't really look very hard at the old pump from that Camry until tonight. Yep... it was pretty bad!!

I'm test fitting things tonight... Caster/Camber plate is in, and it definitely puts the strut in a better spot to lower the car.
