Trucks were all beasts and no body broke anything...that was real surprising.

That sounds like a bad work day and usually unproductive.

I buy so much of my oem parts off amazon already. None of the Local places ever have oem in stock and amazon is usually 2 day shipping max from Amazon. ...heck we even order our Toilet paper from amazon so it's not a far stretch we'd get parts from them as well. The main thing to do is to make sure of the return/exchange policy. If it's sold and shipped through amazon it's perfect but if it's a private seller that needs to give approval, I try to find things other places. I'm almost embarrassed at how much we spend through amazon every month. 10 year old Trailer trash Mike and my Mom from Flint Michigan would be freaked out at our Amazon spending.

A few weeks back, I found this "testlight" program that would allow me to beta test an OBD-II adapter for Topdon. Well, it arrived today! I'll be checking this out soon! Probably do a video too.

Oh and my truck sort of ran out of gas today. No low fuel light, just stalled when I turned a corner. Started back up and stalled 3 more times on the way to the gas station. Getting gas was a Hail mary decision btw, no idea if it would fix the problem.

Of course the pump I coasted into was broke so I had to swing the hose around from the other side. It started up and didn't do it again. I hate my truck again. I almost want to buy an old Chevy truck with the 5.3 just so I have a different set of headaches for a while.

Fuel pump wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be and I didn't even take the bed off.. total of an hour and a half and just needed help getting it back in(my friend held it on the jack while I started the bolts on the straps) ..cleaning the tank was really the hardest part.

If your filler neck hose is thrashed ask them to look for a spectre aftermarket one at Autozone...much cheaper than stock and it was a little thicker than the stock hose with same ID. You'll have to cut two inches off it though...can't remember if it was the tank side or the filler side. Obviously you can compare it to the stock side.

Make sure you get the exact right pump though...the first I got was two inches too long despite being the right part number because of a stocking error. Put the pump alongside the tank beforehand to check.

Also, plan on getting vent hoses...I used fuel injection line, but I was later told it just needed to be low permeability fuel line, which is a bit cheaper.
