Thinking
Thanks Bear. It was a fun trip. The roads when to hell on the way back. Lots of frost heaves in one 10 mile stretch. Made me have to whoa up the Horse a bit, but after those, the road went back to smooth and we pedaled on. I made it up to Fairbanks in 5 hours 15 minutes. It took me 6 hours, running faster, coming back. Damn road construction for 10 miles, made me have to run at 45. I almost fell asleep in that section. LOL
I was quite impressed by my fuel mileage, even with the tune. I got 24.8 going up to Fairbanks, and 27.1 coming back with the Mustang. Great road car, with the Bullitt & Shelby suspension parts I upgraded to. I took corners that said 30 at 80 without sliding a wheel or even thinking about stepping out. I had a fun drive. I may have to run the rally/cross this summer at Tanana. Of course, I'd have to swap to my 373 rear end, but it is something I've been meaning to do anyways. Damn, more projects.
Today I do the seats in lil Red. It's nice out so far, so it's time to get busy on him. I may do the slider swap also today. I'm ready to start working on him. lol I think I've been ready all winter.
White....have you been to the wrecking yards yet, or are you still in the process of doing up your house for sale? Just wondering.
Fireman Jose.....I'll text you tonight about the lights if you still want them. I've just gotten back and can actually get into my shed today. No snow anywhere. Sometimes it pays to run off for a short while. lol Let me know if you still want them.

For the stroker mounted on the rocker panel, a long bar to twist it into place right. But be careful, you can only twist it so much before the panel it's mounted on will snap. And also a sledgehammer to pound it around too. We undid the bolts on the striker and pounded it back towards the truck to suck the door in more when its closed. Then the striker on the front doors is actually adjustable so just adjust it backwards to where it would suck the door in. Throughout the process, put a little tape or something on the strikers to make sure they aren't rubbing the sides etc. tricky process. I spent a few hours perfecting everything. Lots of loosening bolts, adjusting, re tightening and then checking again
He's still after those things? Well, I know what to get him to get on his good side for awhile lol.
My neighbor sent me a text earlier and asked me to do the plugs in their 3V Expedition again. I did it two years ago for them, and I guess it needs it again. Not sure what to say, LOL. I did anti-seize the bottoms (not the threads) so I hope they'll come out easy.
I don't do things like that for people anymore. I offer to help them with it or let them use the garage. I mean come on, it's not like I enjoy that shiii.
