I had about 2500 watts going to a system I. The truck and used 1/0 monster OFC cable. I now only have about 500 watts but still have the same cable. It's sturdy enough that I used the distribution block to wire up the LEDs on my headache rack. I feel having more than you need is always better. You could go cheaper and use 2/0 welding cable as well.

Soooo... on Saturday I put new rotors, pads, and end links on my Escape. Went to put the thermostat in it and saw the water pump is just starting to leak a smidge. Backed off the t-stat job until I get the new pump I ordered. The t-stat looks like it's going to be a real PITA. I can't even see the bolts holding it in. I hope pulling the water pump will give me better access, lol.

I may just have to do that. I have 2 awg running my 350 watt rms amp so maybe a distribution block could be in my future too. What I don't get is that my inverter has a pos post and neg post and a ground. Does that mean I have to run a separate wire to the neg batt post or just ground it?

Hey guys, since most of you in here have a supercab, I was wondering if anyone has found a fix for the door rattle situation. Mines always rattled a bit on certain bumps, but it's getting worse and very annoying. I travel in washboard roads quite a bit and it's making it worse. I was thinking about replacing the latches, but figured I'd see if anyone has this problem or a fix before I start throwing money at it. I really have to slam the doors to get them to latch properly now, and even then I still get the rattle.

Not much help... but just an observation I've made. Mine, Brews, and AK's are all 3 doors. And I honestly think the 3 doors rattle much much less than the 4 doors I've ridden in.

Let me know if you find a permanent fix. I just wrapped a little electric tape around the post and it stopped that rattle completely.

Now a hard, tight fitting, slant cut, plastic bushing may be the perfect home grown answer.

I'm going to investigate further when I get some time off but I did see a few things the superduty guys are doing about it. Not sure yet if it applies to us 150 guys but they are finding broken spot welds in the back doors and making the latch post adjustable. I've also heard the front and back doors need to be adjusted together.
