Yeah.... it does turn off pretty quick (30 to 60 seconds). I just didn't know if it meant a sensor was jacked up.

I just read up on that light. It goes off at 55*C. It is a cold engine warning light. It is suppose to warn you not to exceed recommended engine RPM's and not to rally them until the light goes out. Sort of a reverse warning system. lol....not something you see every day. lol

Thanks AK!! I found a Yaris forum. I guess it won't shift into 4th gear until it goes out as well. My Brother had a BMW M3 that had the max recommended RPM slowly went up as the temp increased.

Hahahaha. LOL @ rallying a Yaris.

I do have an Eaton M90 sitting in the garage....

A feller at work was telling us that one of the auto makers is testing a turbo that is powered by its own electric motor- no lag time- sounds reasonable.
