Boy did I luck out, just changed the transfer case oil, no good way to check it. Had another air filter on hand. The bottom half was a little wet.

If the truck would of stalled.... I would of been screwed. I expect it will make the news tomorrow or the paper anyway. She's running great. The crank sensor was submerged, but I had a wad of dielectric around it and it was still there. Coils were fairly new without dielectric, - I don't grease the coils anymore, just the plugs before mounting them. I guess that worked out as well lol. I'm happy, could of been worse. I need a new serp belt, it's full of small stones that embedded into the belt.

I can't think of anything else to check at the moment.

Thanks, uknow, I wasn't concerned with self, didn't cross my mind. It should of been I guess lol. Save the truck...would of road it out until she died before that final salute. I kept the r's out of instinct I guess, once they stall it's all over without a snorkey. Iduno happened fast, water beaten on the passenger door for a bit, it was high enough to push the front of truck about 15' over until the d-side front tire got a bite on something to shoot the truck (at an angle) backwards. Took some power, all it had to get out the rest of the way, it was fairly steep. It was a Field and Steam "This happened to me" moment. Or is that Outdoor Life ?

Didn't you have similar situation, actually 10 times worse.. squared ?. Yea, you lost your house and headed for high ground if remember right ?

They have everything blocked off now. I attempted to get some sleep, dozed of for a couple hours, went out to the shop to confirm it wasn't a dream....but, I was shocked into a quick rise and shine once my naked feet hit the cold water...180'ed it, got some boots, double back once more and put some clothes on. Shut the hood I left open and took a short cruise, yea it's a circle jerk down there now. Party store owner can't percolate coffee fast enough I expect with all this attention lol.

We've had some landslide issues lately. Your story kind of reminds me of that. Couple years ago North Salt Lake bought a bunch of fairly new homes up, just to demolish them. Not sure if that should get pinned on NSL for giving permits, or the builders....

But yeah, water is a force to be reckoned with for sure!

Damn brew I'm sure you had to change your pants a few times after that, haha. Glad you're okay though, and the truck too. Especially with all you've put into it and done for it.
