Good evening thinkers! Hope you're all enjoying your holiday weekend.

So, I did the intake on my neighbors Expy today. Used the Dorman intake on it. I didn't realize how much different it is than factory. You don't even re-use some of the original bolts because they give you a different style. I thought it was really odd.... but it worked out well overall.

Yesterday I noticed a couple drops of antifreeze under my truck. SOB is leaking out of one of the crimps (passenger). My Buddy that owned the trans shop came over.... so he and I went over to O'Reilly and had them transfer the warranty from his shop and into my name. They didn't have the two row in stock, so I am going to go get it on Monday. I'm a little disappointed.... this Murray radiator was made in Mexico, so I thought it would be better quality. Guess not.

For your viewing pleasure.... if you like the sound of revving Mustangs, that is. Sorry for the door dinger.... I didn't realize it would be evident like that.

The newer SB Fords have a much mellower sound than that when they were carb'd and running the old firing order. The Cleveland firing order really makes the motors sound so sweet now.

Personally I love the way most Fords in general sound (SBF, BBF, Cleveland/Modifieds, FE and most of the LM series V8's and the 4.0 Cologne V6's). I'm not a fan of the 3.8-4.2 note, but like the way the run. The new EcoBoosts have a nice sound also.

Today Red got his new radio installed. I put in an Android system that I talked about before. Now I have to get used to where things are on it.

Here are a couple pictures.

Looks good AK! What head unit is that? Dumb question, but is it amplified, or do you have to run an amp with it?

I put a new radiator in mine today. Dang thing started leaking from the crimps again. Same exact spot as the OEM radiator.... only waaaay earlier. Also changed the oil.

Hey AK.... was going to ask you about doing an A/C clutch. My neighbor needs a new one on his 01 F150, and I was thinking that at some point, in some thread, you listed the measurement to shim it at. Do you recall off the top of your head what that was?
