I am a SORE unit tonight. I got home from work at 3:30 and it is now Midnight. I've been out in the garage non-stop with the exception of eating dinner. I am very, very happy with how it's coming along. The carpet is "meh" quality, but it looks much better.

Looks Great! That's a lot of work cleaning every nook and cranny.

You still using that 'New Car Smell Tide' ?

Nice work!

I'll be using it more tomorrow. I am getting front seats from a friend tomorrow. Hope I like how they look... they aren't a perfect match, but the price is GREAT.

I hate being this way but i had to send a tech out of my dept because their writer did not write the repair line up properly(Internal used car written up as C/P) and when it gets changed it throws the numbers and pricing all out of whack. Told the tech i hate being this way but i have to do this. He understood it and said they have to learn to do their job

this was the email i sent out to all the writers yesterday(and i sent them a slightly nicer one earlier in the week but with no change)

Gentlemen and Lady,

There have been a couple reoccurring issues lately concerning ROs needing parts billed. First, lines are not being added after a job has been sold, especially on internals. Everything gets billed on the used car check line so we can keep proper inventory. The issue has been that the lines have been added after the fact and we are not notified that the lines have been added, so we can move the parts to the proper line and off the used car check line. The second issue is the repair type(C,W,I) being incorrect. We have been seeing a lot of internal jobs with lines as a repair type C. That makes the pricing incorrect especially if it is changed from a C to an I, and we are not notified of the change.

Please make sure that the proper lines / repair type has been added on the RO prior to coming back to us or we will not bill/ hand the parts out.

I was up uncharacteristically late... I need to get back out there this morning and start replacing the front screws.

I just had a company contact me about flags. They want to give me a Ford/Mustang/Shelby flag (my choice) if I will take a picture of my car with it. They in turn use my car as advertising. Hmmmm...

Holy crap... these seats look ok, but they have a few hours of work into them. Haven't wired the stereo or washed it yet.
