Got into it as far as I could without disturbing any fluids. I was really hoping that I could do this without messing with the A/C, but that condenser doesn't look much longer for this world.
It is unbelievably pretty repairable. I am certain the insurance would have totaled it.... but I've priced it all out, and I'm gong to be 500 into it plus fluids. That's all the way fixed. If you look at the red arrows, that is really the only "structural" damage of any kind. Might bend it and reinforce it with 1/4" steel.... I dunno, LOL.
Good morning thinkers!- Dang, dude!- you scattered that Ford in a hurry!!-from what i understand, the airbags is what will total it- my son had an old Cheby Malibu that popped the air bags-he tagged a wall where the curb block had been moved. ( so much for his depth perception-lol)- he cut them out and taped the covers closed!!- he drove that car for two years after that!
