Dr. Noobs suggests a large dose of syrup of Ipecac. One stops pukin once there is no longer anything to puke.
Also, large doses of Benadryl will let you sleep through the illness so if you finally wake up you won't be sick anymore.

Mr. Noobs actual advise is to call your DR as they can often get you drugs that may help without a visit if your symptoms match something that is going around.

Also, Buy the 91 (if it is that good) if you can afford it at all.

Ipecac.... haven't heard that one in a while.

My Grandpa was a pharmacist. Times like these I wish he was still around.

I'm trying to decide if this is allergies, or some virus. I came in to work, but I think I'll do what I need to and head home.

Unless you ate something that you are allergic to, pollen allergies don't cause puking.
You have a Jif peanut butter lately?
Taco bell?

I haven't had the vomiting (yet), just my Wife. She gets sick really easy. I have a lot of issues with cotton trees... but I haven't seen any cotton floating around yet.

My biggest issue is that I can't breathe, and I have a mild sore/scratchy throat.

Could be so many things, and covid has an equal number of symptoms. My wife just went through those symptoms... twice in a month+. Most speutum was clear, but not all, some slight yellow-green but not v much nor regular. 1st anti's did the job. Back in 2 weeks. 2nd dose seemed to do lil, but she recovered anyway. No home covid test of 2 or 3 showed any positive.

But chest congestion, covid-aided or not, can lead to pneumonia. Vit C is no panacea, but adds an edge. Check dosage... 1gm is a usual max, but up to 5, toxic, can be tolerated for a v few days. (Chk w yr Dr.) V warn torso(!), high fluids/electrolytes, and don't care how cold you allow arms and legs and head to help w discomfort of a V warn chest. Like, wear a vest or two and shorts/etc.

Benedryl, (diphenhydramine,) cheapest is bright pink at CostCo, $5, $25 @ Walgreens, btl of 600. The whole btl of 600 is LDL 50, so fairly safe as far as death from OD is concerned... but dose past 2 can lead to awake-black outs, known to ambian etc.

Covid can gestate from 1st symptom to death in one day or weeks. Consider phoning your Dr after a week of no change. (Now???) Chest congestion can be v serious. If not covid, it can weaken you to get covid. It is opportunistic. Hope you live away from what passes as civilization.

I take 500mg of Vitamin C every day - along with a host of other vitamins. Also just took some EmergenC with D and Zinc. This is why I seldom get sick, I'm sure. All of my congestion is head congestion. Nothing in my chest.

You can do it yourself for about 20 to 30 dollars with some 3M Butyl Rope.
