ran over a screw at some point last week, right on the darn sidewall, tires were about 6/32, so i just bit the bullet and put 4 new ones on

DJ, I'll be honest... I woulda plugged it right there, lol. Not far enough into the crown for me to discard it.


OK.... this is what I am trying to correct on my leaf springs. I'm possibly making it into a bigger issue than it is.

if you get a tech who is having a bad day, they will pick your vehicle apart. I had one of my previous vehicles fail because the fog lights did not turn off with the high beams and had to wire in a relay

oh no doubt, but with how i am with vehicle maintainence, it was tire time anyway so i just did it

6/32" is replacement depth for me, too, DJ. I need more "tooth" than that for the snow (of which I got another inch overnight).

plus the factory hankooks that ford puts on these trucks are JUNK

Holy ****... that's ridiculous. I agree, that's a summer tire now, but I'd run it a little longer.
