Fordguy,
Sorry for your loss.
Funerals don't get any better as you get older.
If you feel like you are about to completely lose it, bite your tongue. The pain will somehow distract you for a couple minutes till you can get your composure back. Don't bite too hard though.

You are the man, AK!! To answer Noob's question, that's exactly what I want it for. Looking pretty. I want it for the White Stallion.

Sorry for your loss, 2100. My same situation that you are in happened to me just before I turned 24. That was over 20 years ago, and I still miss my Grandpa. He was only 67, and the cancer got him. I am interested to know what happened to Paul's dad, Sherm.

I never thought about adding a battery cover, White. Not a bad idea.

2100 - I, too, am sorry for your loss. My maternal grandfather died when I was quite young. The image that's stuck with me all these years is his legs and feet being swollen in the hospital. Weird image, I know. When my maternal grandmother died, I was so boiling *mad* at the news, I went outside, and walked (marched) around the hospital grounds so hard and so fast I got shin splints. It's gotten a bit easier over time knowing that their passing brings peace and an end to pain, but it's still hard.

My Grandpa was diagnosed with colon cancer (and treated for) in April of 1997. Got declared cancer free in April of 1998. In April on 1999 he went in for his year checkup and it had come back with a vengeance.... he chose not to fight it a second time because it would have only made his life more miserable. He passed just 3 months later.

This is why I keep upkeep colonoscopy's, endoscopy. I take after him in many ways.

Well, if he puts up a pic of himself decked out in gator bling the next time we hear from him, guess we'll have our answer lol.

30 mph! No, they aren't that fast are they ? Google is all over the place on the speed thing, perhaps nobody really knows. A few say 11mph on land/ 20 mph in the water. Another said 35mph on land. It may depend upon how hungry they are....or whether or not they can tell if your a a-hole or not. They do say quite a bit, alligators are not your friend, run! Don't play dead or you will be dead. That is most likley spot on I expect lol.

They can go over barbed wire fences too.
Seems they do trees too.
Wow, evolving I expect....or attempting it. I haven't seen one chasing a squirrel down the power lines yet, - pining for appetizers lol.

Never have. Came close to writing it off in 06 w/after 185,00 miles. Lost most of the forward motion. Quite a few said I might be able to repair it, - that it was worth the effort. It was, still doing the job, at least it was a few months back anyway lol. That's the last time I repaired or serviced the trans until 2 months back....it blew a line, rusted out. Amsoil doesn't age according to Blackstone labs.... It's actually an E4OD. Basically the same as the 4/100...close enough.
