I don't know, do you think Bear could take an Alligator ? Maybe. I know I'd be all shoe leather express facing a large one of those things.... but aren't they fast as well ? TREE! I've never seen one in a tree.

On the Yaris I am torn. Still great tread for summer. Winter though... meh.

Three years and probaby 60K them.

EDIT: Just checked... I'm off. 50 thousand miles. Not too bad.

I don't know bout trees, but don't count on a fence to do much but slow them down. Seen one go over a fence.
They can go over barbed wire fences too.
Seems they do trees too.

I am reminded of why I stay away from Ebay. Bought some exhaust pipes on there a week ago. They still haven't shipped, no response from seller. I just ordered more from another seller now... this was a "must" finish project for me before the snow flies.

He might be able to. Lol

They can reach up to 30 mph in short bursts so I only deal with them from a distance. Generally leave them alone unless they are a danger to my dogs or myself..

The trans on my truck was at 225xxxish when my truck was wrecked. Original trans and (dont crucify me) but I dont think I ever flushed the fluid either in the 100xxxish miles I put on it lol. Im glad wolvez and a few others have faded into the past and stayed there

Also truck is getting some warranty work done (seemed overkill to me but its all free for me so I figured why not)... since they needed to keep the truck for a few days they wanted to give me a loaner and I convinced them they should send me home with one of their broncos. So this is my ride for the next few days! (Been trying to convince the wife she wants a Bronco so Ill let her drive it some too). Sadly I think the wife wants an explorer/expedition so Ill just have to soak up the next few days.

It seems that sellers on Ebay are either great or they suck in every way. No in between.
Amazon is getting like that with their third party sellers too.

Liking the Bronco. If you like it get you one. Dude I camp with got one. Light blue. He loves it. Seems like a great ride. He does claim it is a gas hog though. He also likes to brag about how much he paid for it (over sticker). I'm too cheap for that.
Kinda wish I had waited before I bought my newer truck but in summer of 2020 Ford was giving massive deals on F150s. One of the rebates was $2,500 if you finance with Ford at 5.99%. First payment was full loan amount. Screw 6% when Navy FCU is giving 1.99%.

My 97 had the trans rebuilt at ~50,000 at a Ford dealer (under extended warranty) and is now at ~270,000. Rebuilt because the torque converter failed. I remember the man doing the rebuild. His name was Bill. Bill was a friend of my dad. Fat as all get out. Told my dad that he would rebuild it rather than use a factory replacement. Said the factory replacement would fail early also. He did it on his workbench at the dealer and we got to watch for a bit. That fat dude took out the trans with a jack, let the jack down to shoulder height, placed the trans on his shoulder and hiked it over to his bench. Got to watch him take it apart but then our ride got there. When we picked it up he told us that he put all the upgrades in it. He even put a Ford pan with a drain plug on it. He must have built it well as the factory build lasted 50K and his build is at 220K and still going strong. That was ~ 2003. I wonder if Bill is still there? Bill was great.

I change trans fluid and filter every 50K miles.
