It's a sign of crappy weather I expect. I can't bend my thumb without a "don't do that " reaction. I'm pretty sure that means rain. Calling for rain now through Saturday

Tomorrow says a high of 58, and next Friday has a high of 65. Should be able to find some weld time in there.

That doesn't sound bad. About the same temps here. Yea , don't know how we missed that cold front you and Ohio experienced. Jet stream must of looped us.

It has been pretty cold, for sure. Probably feels colder coming out of summer than it would if we were going into spring. But these 30 degree mornings are a bit nipply.

Officially it snowed in Anchorage today. This is the second snow storm this month, but the first at the airport where it is measured. Supposed to get down into the 20's tonight so tomorrow it is going to be a slick mother tomorrow on the way to work. Glad I'm retired. LOL

I got serious today, since the snow/ I went down the street and bought a atv plow blade (new but assembled). I had to order the special mount plate but that will be here Monday, so then it will be ready to use. I'm going to put in the winch set up tomorrow, and then it is just waiting for the part. Getting there.

I'd sure like a 4 wheeler with a plow. I'm jealous, AK!

I've wanted to outfit an ATV or 4wheeler like that for quite awhile, that would be handy to have around. Sounds like fun AK. The toy I have currently for the snow is a 46" snow thrower attachment for the Deere. That little thing impresses me each time I used it...fits the sidewalk perfectly. Didn't use it last year though, not really that much snow. That winch will be cool as well AK.

Right

I looked ahead at the monthly forecast. 60's 50's and low 30's at night for November. Very little below 32. It's dropping down to sub freezing in December tho , the second week in December. That's their prediction anyway lol. I might have more time to get things accomplished.

We make paper, Bill- we take the chips and cook them down to mush, basically, then bleach the color out of it so the paper machines can make paper out of it. Its quite a process.

It was surprisingly quiet!- but then again, it turns slow, but it pulls a bunch of weight almost continually!
