Yeah, they lost all but one of our first baby announcements and professionally-done baby pictures for us. Like $400 up in smoke.
Who the heck knows how they work?
Pretty sure like this:

Terrible day so far, forgot to set the garbage out....fail! Then pulled an Ohio, maybe worse, - drove 10 miles (one way) to the store, stood in the checkout line for about 10 minutes only to realize I left the wallet at home....double fail!

Probably should break out a jigsaw puzzle or a few coloring books and stay home the rest of the day....

Brew, not worse. Breck is an hour-and-a-half drive each way. (Well, it's supposed to be, but in the Acura.... at night.... with no traffic.... )

I've had two straight shiddy days. Had a server take a poop over the weekend due to a bad Microsoft update. I restored it to a previous date only to have it repeat the issue over last night from the same update.

I called my Buddy's company to get into it (I am in IT, but my brain has its limitations) and they agreed - bad update. Trying right now with one of his guys to see why and what the hell it is doing. I took it back in time again to a good state...

Anyway. It's the craps and me lately. Wishing you all the best for your travels for Thanksgiving, etc. Hoping I'm not working and spinning up a new server and migrating 1.5TB of SQL DB stuff.

LOL, that's right, - could of been worse I guess, it could always be worse lol.

There's a little more to it, - I couldn't find my wallet right away once I got back to the house. I was like, watch it be behind the seat in the truck lol. Nope, before I left the house in the morning I grabbed the hand tamp and packed the garbage down real quick, - since garbage day was a fail. Worked great except for the spoiled milk trails dripping down my coat after. Anyway, I must of set the wallet down on top of the bottled water stack before grabbing the tamp, -which for the most part camouflaged the thing. Thought it was gone for good for awhile there. That would of been a major PITA.

Yea, rough morning lol.

Yea the computer has been acting a little funny since that last update, wasn't that a few weeks ago? Nothing major, a few annoyances to solve now along with 3 or 4 driver updates that need to be done since the update. I should do that real quick. Well, maybe I better wait until tomorrow lol.

Looking at the update log, this decided to quit updating August 31st. It is a Server 2012 R2 machine... so it needs updating anyway. MS support ends for it in 2023. Anyway... the OS has several corrupt files that SFC can't fix. It just a shiddy deal. Hope this latest roll back will allow it to run a little longer.

I can't remember if I said on here that I'm not a fan of the B&M shifter in Frankie? Anyway, I did some measuring to back up my feelings... 1st to 2nd throw with the B&M is 4 inches. The Hurst is 2.5 inches. Glad I ordered a Hurst. I should have seen the writing on the wall with this B&M. It's been ground down around the edges because it had clearance issues. I don't think it is making it al the way into 2nd... so it pops out of 2nd on a downshift. 2nd gear, the sliders, synchros... all of it is brand new so it has to be this shifter. I do have another shifter I could try, but I'll wait for the Hurst.

Did you try running DISM first ? If the cache corrupt, good luck w/SFC beforehand.... Might be worth a shot with that one...doknow.
