Yeah that's the length i measured too. This cable is about 3/4" too long. My original cable was like 77 11/32 and the '76 cable is 78 1/8". I thought I would be able to make up that with the adjuster on the end of the front cable but now I'm concerned because the new front cable is longer than it's supposed to be. Don't know if I bother trying to exchange thru rock auto or live with it and have the rears made shorter. Either way I'm just spinning my wheels (ha no pun intended) until I swap this axle. HOPEFULLY that's next week.

Think I got it off Ebay. I was thinking it was an alternator pulley puller. But I dunno..... Maybe it was for the Toyota, and that's why it looks goofy.

I can't figure out what the reamers are for? I've seen them before...thru holes in aluminum maybe ?
