White, I vote blue over silver on Frankie. Always one of the best combos in my opinion. My 1st gen ten had that scheme, still my favorite.

I'm pretty sure it'll end up like that.... BUT, I'm not going to go nuts doing body work. I want a Fox that I'm not scared to beat on, take to the store, do burnouts in, etc. Right now, as much as I love driving The Eight Nine, I just don't do like beating the **** out of it. So, I'll do a little body work, but I'm painting it myself, with Rustoleum. Not rattle can, I'll get the stuff in a pail and use an HVLP or something.

Printer is up and working fine again, - it was the ink. I believe it had the cartridges that came with still installed. On the network wireless for now, but purchased a newer 10' USB printer cable just in case. I have shi-ton of those cables but they're ancient and most are 6'.

I think my kid has a printer like yours white. I know hers is 4600 series anyway, still works great! I borrowed it for my printing recently, lol. Did a superb job!

I know what "toner" is......now, looked it up. It's magical dust for laser printers. And now I know Ohio makes his own and White plasters the walls with it...

BTW- White, did you score a MI plate yet ? I had one for yuh, - forgot to grab it when I left a few weeks ago. I'll pick it up next time if you don't have one yet.

I think in the right setting you would still roast the 89's tires....it'll just have to be much more worth it is all lol.
___________

That makes a load difference right there, you'll be surprised how good it comes out.

I've been watching a lot of guys that are using it. There are a lot of "recipes" you can find for it. Using acetone, hardener, flex agent, etc. It's not pristine, but it is very presentable.

Holy cow... my phone has been non stop dinging all night long. I don't think I've ever had so many people contact me in one day, LOL. I'm about 50/50 on the IMAF show tomorrow. I got The Eight Nine out and washed it just in case. Supposed to meet up with a fellow YT'r up there. It's about 150 miles round trip though. That's a deterrent for me.

I got them both out of the garage at the same time tonight when I washed The Eight Nine.

EDIT: Just found another deterrent... cheese and crackers. 50 dollars to show my car in their show? I haven't been a member of NUMOA since my Buddy was the President back in 1998 or 1999, LOL.

My daughter came up for a week of work for her company from Huntsville Alabama. Fun to see her. She went back last night only to hear from her husband that both my grandkids caught covid this week after school started. One 12 yo and one 6. Different schools, same district. Major break out in those schools this week. That really sucks. They kept them, safe at home for a year and a half, and in the course of the first week, 2/3 of his class and 1/2 of her class were out sick with this. I wish these southern politicians would take this more seriously than they are. Rant over

Sorry to hear about the kiddos, AK, but it's still just a hoax made up by the left, don't you know?

I am actually sorry to hear about them. Hopefully their younger immune systems will help keep the effects minor and short-lived. A co-worker living in TN and I had lunch the other day, and he was saying the same thing about the general attitude (and stupidity) of some of the leadership and constituency there, who preach it's nothing to worry about, and is being "over-hyped."

They're saying the Delta variant is as contagious as the chickenpox, and I remember that racing through grade schools when I was a kid.

At first I thought, holy crap, that gun isn't spraying right. Too much spotting at first. By the third coat, it cleaned up nicely. So in all, it didn't turn out bad.

Without a clear overcoat though, that Rustoleum will fade quickly in the sun. A nice quick overcoat of clear wouldn't cost much additional and could be done in one wet coat. It would sure hold the gloss a lot longer than just the paint itself. A quart would suffice with the mix for one good wet coat and be quite cheap in comparison to Dupont/PPG etc.

My friend who makes and repairs trailers, uses Rustoleum on them, with the same base mix. He uses a gloss hardener to keep the paint bright. If you'd like I'll check and see what hardener he uses. I've seen a 10 yo trailer of his still shine like new to this day. He also uses a Sherwin Williams industrial grade paint, just like the Rustoleum. That may be where he gets the gloss hardener too.

Soooo.... I went. I had a hard time getting around to do much picture taking. Walked around once with the phone and GoPro, but that's about it.
