Damn, HP Ink is pricey these days. Rarely need a printer anymore, but when I do, of coarse somethings is wrong with it... The ink dried up before I had the chance to use it all lol.
Anyway, better go with the HP stuff, so to avoid other issues I guess.
Yes... pretty much. My friend sent me a pic of it tonight, and it's dark charcoal silver. I'm going up there on Saturday to grab it.
Do any of you have much experience with fiberglass? I'm wanting to fill in these holes on my hood. Maybe there's a better way? They make such a mess under the hood.
Really, - have you thought about blocking them from the back ?
I like the look myself, looks sort of like a Cervini Hood. They manufactured the best looking hood for the gen 10 150's at one time. Very hard to find one today.
Dang white, I didn't think you were actually going to do it (the stripe)......practice or boardom ?
Well... it started out as a trip to get peanut butter at Walmart. When we were leaving, the Wife said "are you going to get some paint for Frankie while you're here?". And now we have this below... a big blue stripe edged with two 1/4" red stripes. (And no, Walmart did not have the paint).

Yes, that's what I was wanting, from the back. This hood is a POS ebay hood or something. It's pretty thin. Painting on it made me realize that it is also warped. It's not staying with the car, which is why I went a little off course on it. One thing it did do for me though is rekindle my thoughts of making it blue with silver on the bottom.
About an hour ago, I had my Buddy send me a pic of his Cervini, and this is definitely not a Cervini.

You guys still use printers much ?
I deal with printers all the time. If you're OK with just using black, I would suggest spending the money for a laser printer. I need to get one for my kids.... school is about to start, LOL. I have a whole shelf of ink and toner in my office at work. Takes up the whole wall.
Years ago, I bought a Ricoh color laser online for something like $69. I refill the toner myself as often as possible, then buy remanned carts when necessary. It's been a workhorse.

Awesome! All of the color laser cartridges I buy are in the 150 dollar range. It costs 600 dollars to do toners (CMYK) in the HP M680 at work.

Huh, the hood looks good from here. Doesn't look like a cheapy.
Yea, purchased what I thought was a cheap simple printer and it had the USB option. Networking and wireless can be hassle at times. It also had good reviews on ink usage from what I recall, -
I realize if you don't use them much, the ink will dry out. Pretty sure that's what happened here. I'm not sure what "toner" is, just that it takes black and tri-color. Well, Amazon got my ink hear in less than a day....that's got to be a record lol. Must be a warehouse close by.

LOL
Oh and thanks for the info white! Saved that one lol.
Well I'm going to see if I can get this working after dinner, it's only 2 or 3 years old. I know, doesn't mean anything lol.
Hope I don't have to resort to downloading the HP software, that'll be the last resort. Usually when things get that desperate, it's not going to work...from what I remember anyway.lol.
GRF150 - I guess it depends on how much of a "purist" the SSP owner is,. I'm actually not sure what I'd do with one if I had it.
AK - I really like the "F150" plate, and am glad you were able to transfer it over easily.
Whitey - EDIT: Stupid stripe stuff deleted. I missed the intent, and the fact that you already did it.
And when's the fish fry? I'll bring the chips! (I like to have fish once in awhile, just for the Halibut!) - - - I'll see myself out, now.
P. S. - Posting this at 3 AM from a hotel room in Denver where I can't sleep because the @#&$ A/C is too noisy, it gets too warm without it, and my head's stuffed up *because* of the A/C, the smoke (better but still lingering), *and* I forgot to bring my allergy medicine. Grrrr!
I like your fish joke! I used to work at Ivar's which is a local Seattle area fish restaurant similar to Skippers, if anyone knows those. Been about 25+ years since then but that Halibut joke brought back a lot of memories. Halibut was always my favorite fish and was one of the more expensive options. Salmon, prawns etc. and occasionally Mahi Mahi were there as well. Cod was good and was the standard back then but now pollack is standard and cod is an upsell because we overfished the shipt out of them. Umm... ramble over, TGIF!
