I don't know, that car has its own unique character now. I like the look as is, - my votes for clear coat.

What about a couple of blue skunk stripes?

The hatch is way too far gone to hang on to. Unfortunately, I'll be losing the window tint. But as it is, when it gets wet, the water pools up inside the hatch. The hatch I am getting is for an LX, so it has two extra bolt holes that the GT's don't have. It will either need to retain the LX wing for a bit, or need me to plug up two bolt holes. I'm pretty excited though.

Hood needs to be white.
Back when that car was new, all the street racers would go buy a fiberglass hood and skirts. To show they had a race car they never painted it so it was left white.
This way your car will look like a survivor of the 1989 street racer scene and won and lived to tell about it.
That makes Frankie a winner!
Let Frankie show his street racer cred !

I drove it around last night... it's not fast, but damn is it fun to drive when it's not trying to die on me every time I push in the clutch.

I'm going to try and get the idle to come down a little bit. It still thinks 800 is where it needs to be (I actually should hook up my timing light and see how accurate the tach is). I'd really like it to idle at 700, but I've heard of this cam wanting to idle at 850-900, so maybe I'm playing with fire.

Maybe the white will stay then....

The more I look at this thing, the more I want to just preserve the way it looks. Maybe a new drivers door though.

I want to see wide tires on a mustang or any other ports car for that matter.
Any Mustang enthusiast knows that the idea with these cars is to keep them as original as possible.

Just to set record straight, CareBear was for titty pink.

I like the green as there isn't anything else green on the car and isn't your truck Pacific Green? or maybe it was blue?

Negatory Ghost Rider. Those stripes.

Looking at the color charts for 87-93, I kind of lean to the grey color. It covers a lot of imperfections and still looks good. Not the silver, but the grey. No metallic to show off small waves or dents

Maybe around your area but back in those days when these specific models were in circulation around here. I can remember they had nice exhausts on them, super wide tires, tinted windows...etc
