Yep just hoping it didn't screw up the compressor and I find out about it next summer when it's 104° lol. But yes way less hassle. I'd probably have to take it to a shop for the compressor. I've never messed with refrigerant systems and don't know if I want to.
O' Reilly's has the assembly in their warehouse and going to get it at 3:30. It's a Murray brand? Don't know much about them but wife needs the car and it's the only one in stock.

Alright well got everything put back on... now just need some details. Whitey I found this pic you posted in 2016 about torque specs for a compressor... I'm curious, since I have the same compressor as a truck are my values the same? Because Fordtechmakuloco says the fresh air gap should be .014-.030 but your table says .045-.080.

I can't find definitively anywhere what my fresh air gap should be.

Also is the clutch hub bolt 10lbs for my car too?
Edit* according to ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com FS10 compressors should have a gap between .013 and .033 so he's essentially confirming FordTechmakuloco.

That looks insane. AK I know you probably have more pressing things on your mind but I'm sure we are all awaiting you response to let us know you are OK and what your experience was like. I don't really pray but for you I will today.

I saw that on face book a little while ago. Then confirmed on the radio on the way home. Hope Ak is alright. Not quite sure how close that was to him.

Edited* recant my earlier statement, double checked his profile, he's located in anchorage for sure just not sure where in relation to the earthquake epicenter. Maybe he was visiting the North Pole and missed it completely.

Also saw an aftershock registered at like 5.2 or 5.7 can't remember which but it was in the 5s

Hi guys. Are you guys worried about a little 7.0 quake? Come on. I was here in 64. That was a quake. 9.2. This was a tremor in comparison. LOL

I lost a cabinet of dishes and glasses. It threw both gallons on milk on the floor and emptied my freezer. We lost power and heat but had it back by 1130. My heater didn't want to re-energize. I fixed it right away. My Ppm was fine, the new dog is still shaking a bit. lol I did lose my new Smart TV but not bad overall.
