Just went out and did a FP test on Frankie. it takes quite a while for the pump to build pressure, but it runs. I get a zero reading just priming the pump.... it has to be started to get any pressure reading. Suspicious there was something wrong with my gauge, I stuck it on The Eight Nine. I get 38 psi just priming the pump.

So I think either the pump is weak, the filter is pretty bad, or the hose in the tank is leaking. I'll get in there and see pretty soon and have a look.

Got my dash all back together tonight.... went to the car show and didn't even stop. Way too big of a fustercluck for me. It's at an old folks home. They were doing a fundraiser with a bunch of crafts and food being sold. And there was also a stage with a band playing. Look at this parking lot, and you do the math. I don't trust my car being safe in this mess.
Car show with enough room for maybe 15 spaces for a car and area needed for people to view before we even consider space for the band or food?
That's some poor planning. Clustef*ck is an apt description.

Looks like some of yall need some rain. Let me know how to send it to you and I'll get it there. We having daily storms with flash floods now.

I also never wanted to put dynamite on an arrow like Bo and Luke Duke. I could never figure out how those things went straight.

Package us a couple storms, Noobs. We need some rain, bad!

I just poked around on RA and found an Airtex pump for under 15 bucks on clearance.

EDIT: The Airtex is a 29 gallon per hour (110 LPH) pump.

Whitey. You should have bought 2. One for the next Mustang or the 89 later for that price. BOGO free basically.

Good morning all!

White: Be sure to post up what you find. This hard initial start in the '95 is a PITA. I have to prime it a dozen times or more if it sets for a day or two, and when I do, I hear bubbling in the tank. Usually after it stops, it will start up OK. I know what it was like with a split in-tank hose, and don't think that's my problem.

The 89 has a lifetime pump in it from AZ. BTW... I looked, and the new AZ brand is Delphi. I replaced it in 1995, and the brand was Master - and I believe they were under the Federal Mogul

I sure will... I have everything I've done so far on video too. At first I thought something was wrong with my gauge.... but I verified it works on my 89. Check it out. I'm surprised it doesn't stumble or die when I hit the purge button.

Just found out another one of the YT channels that I watch is in UT as well. I've thought it was in Idaho this whole time. He's talked about Idaho in a couple of them, so I just figured...

Then I read this... https://www.heraldextra.com/entertai...ee5caafa9.html

Damn it, I hate FedEx. This package is tie rods and a rack seal kit for Frankie. It shipped a week ago, and the delivery date keeps moving. I guess I'm not doing that tomorrow.

Hey, AK. Don't know if you're familiar with ATV tires, but I'm replacing the rubber on my Grizzly. Since I use it mainly for winter plowing, I want something good in the snow, but I don't want a dedicated snow tire because I do use it for other stuff. I'm looking hard at the Kenda Bear Claw K992 and Bear Claw XT. Do you know if either of these are popular up there?

EDIT: Anyone else is free to chime in, of course.
