Hey, you tried something, and decided somebody else could do it better. Nothing wrong with that. Sounds like the neighbor is the one doing dumb**** things. (Fortunately, we've had more rain at home than originally expected, but I still hope people will refrain from fireworks follies.)

And, wow that thread!
AK, was that your diplomatic way of saying, "You bought the wrong part," or are there actually three or four trucks running around with that idler?

The thing I found comical was seeing that receipt, just after "want to compare bank accounts", LOL.

And yep, I'm really excited about the next few days. I was pretty upset that I am in a zone that is not restricted for fireworks. I have a few neighbors that go to Wyoming for fireworks because what they get is illegal in Utah. Apparently nobody cares if Wyoming burns down.

I am right next to some DRY fields.... just basic kindling waiting to go up.

Hi Guys,

Looks like I need a new parking brake pedal assy...

Got into the truck the other morning and heard a large twang sound, went to release the parking brake and it was floppy

Looks like the spring in the assy has failed so no tension etc (going on my basic google search for the same problem) and unfortunately here in the UK, I will need a working parking brake to pass our annual MOT (Inspection) at the end of October

Luckily I have time to get parts and get it fixed but I'm guessing I will be looking down the used route as I can't seem to find anything new available but I don't know if I'm searching under the correct term... lol

I've spent the afternoon trying to look through the search pages on here but can't find anything that might give me a part number to help tracking things down

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Thanks again AK,

Managed to find a couple of places that had it and shipped to the UK so I now have one on the way to me through Ebay.com and their global shipping scheme

Not cheap @ £165 but that is all in with shipping & import taxes etc so not as bad as it could have been

Of all the luck. Today this popped up for 800. Needs a starter supposedly. Still 800. I have no place to stack it right now or I'd have a place for my Windsor motor to go.

Oh well. I'm getting too old for more damn projects.
