The Fox Body's from 87-93 have VIN numbers on hood, fenders, front bumper cover..... I think the hatch and rear quarters might too. I'll have to look again.

EDIT: here's the bumper cover sticker.

I spent so much time under the hood today.... I don't know if it made much of a difference. But it's progress. I took my wiper motor apart to paint it, and it was full of rust. It's been YEARS since I've even ran the thing. Anyway.... I got it back together, and it sounds like crap. I was seriously wanting to get a new motor the whole time. So... I'm not going to **** around with it. I possibly have one in my parts stash, but if not I'll order a new one. I did get some paint in the areas that the new insulator/blanket will not cover. I was thinking today... my intake rubbed the old one. So I might need to modify it a bit. Hopefully this one is a little thinner than the factory piece.

We sort of discussed this item a time back and today I saw a picture of what we were describing, This is a C4 with a Gear Vendors Over/Underdrive unit attached. Says it gives him 6 speeds.

My Buddy was going to put one in his Lincoln... but he told me he decided not to. Can't remember why. Makes me wonder if he still has it.

That truck of his is a quick little unit. Ran 12.2 in its first outing at LS Fest. Sure wish I would have went there instead of getting a camera up my a$h.

By the way... I'm just going to order a new wiper motor. I know the spare that I have is from a 4 eye, and they changed them in 87. Dang it!

Guy asks for pinouts, I give them to him, and he's mad. Typical internets warrior.

THIS^^^^Is why I don't post nearly as much as before. If the OP doesn't like your answer you get ridiculed. Screw that. So, I don't post much anymore.

I'm confused. Ray... told DQ an.answer and DQ said; ~"Thx, you may have saved my trk from the crusher." Some PO's are not very civil. Their social IQ may be lower than mine. But some here have been treated so well for so long by those in the know, or those more forum socially acclimated, that I think sometimes an over-reaction occurs. It's good to rememeber that such flare-ups in a garage over a beer are abruptly but almost kindly while instantly snuffed out - but in print, things take on a life of their own. Ya'know? 😉

Yeah, I don't get it. Way too many guys wanting everyone else to do their research for them. If he hadn't quoted all of my pics, I'd pull a Brew and go remove them all.
